- Summary
- The Mildred N. Beauregard Slide Collection contains 1,249 35mm slides, dated circa 1947-1971, of gardens and castles in England, Scotland, France, Holland, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, as well as American gardens, photographed by Mildred Napier Beauregard. Some slides show tourist sites and scenes including skylines, rock features, waterways, boats and ships, and unidentified individuals. The collection also includes two slide viewers.
- Biographical note
- Mildred Napier Beauregard was born in Milledgeville, Georgia. She was an avid traveler and photographer, taking numerous slides of the sites she visited.

- Arrangement
- The historic order of the slides has been maintained and reflects an organization based on geographic location. In rehousing the slides, rubber bands were removed for preservation purposes and replaced with archival quality card stock to indicate groups of slides that were formerly banded together.
- Processing Information note
- A box list of a portion of the Mildred N. Beauregard Slide Collection was prepared by AAG intern Cate Rudnicki in 2008. Encoded by AAG intern Carolyn Chesarino, June 2010 and Brittany Dunton, December 2011.
